A few years ago I went to Zimbabwe alone. I decided to make Leo sr a lot of food that he could reheat after work. One of the things I made were a couple of roasted chickens. Well, he started eating the chicken before I even left! The whole purpose of cooking ahead was defeated.
Roasted chickens are so versatile and save you time. If you are always busy I think keeping one for the days when you are short on time will be handy. I have listed below twenty different ways that you can use roasted chickens. If you do not mind you can even buy a rotisserie chicken at the supermarket.
#1 Salad
Make a salad with vegetables like lettuce, onion, and any other toppings you like such as fruits and cheese. Top with shredded chicken. Toss with a dressing of your choice.

#2 Soup & Stock
I like vegetable soups but if you like to have protein as well then go ahead and add shredded chicken to your soup. Use the leftover bones to make stock. Add some vegetables, herbs and water and bring to boil.

Make chicken curry to your taste, the chicken will save you time.

Pizza is one of the easiest dishes to make. With roasted chicken and a few other toppings, you can have a meal in a short time.

Make a simple stir fry, quickly fry some veggies and then add the shredded chicken and some seasonings of your choice.

I enjoy making pies from scratch. If I have roasted chicken then the process is even faster.
