I have been making baby sweaters for some time now but somehow I have I have always passed over this pattern. I think this one on of the best looking out there, for a boy anyway. I found the pattern on Ravelry and its a free pattern by Linden Down from Stockinette.
The pattern is well written and easy to follow at least for someone who has experience knitting. The good thing is that there is no seaming involved in this project. You have to know how to make increases and doing a wrap and turn. This was my first project that involved a wrap and turn and I used this Youtube video from Very Pink Knits:

I totally enjoyed making this sweater, but like Linden mentions on Ravelry the pattern can easily run too small, so be sure to check your gauge!
