If you have been following my blog then you will know that Bermuda is expensive. Everything is at least twice what you would pay in the US and many times what you would pay in Zimbabwe. What I still do not understand though is that fish is just as expensive. Before moving to Bermuda I had assumed there would be big fishing industry since we are surrounded by nothing but sea. There are a few fisherman who sell fish and it is just as expensive as buying in the shops.
Leo Sr went fishing a few years ago maybe twice on land and a few times deep-sea fishing. On his deep-sea fishing trips he brought home tuna, I think it was yellow fish tuna. I do not like that fish. Probably because I do not cook it properly, I have noticed on TV that you need to under cook tuna. The Zimbabwean in me wants their protein well done so I am just not into tuna.
