Gardening
My posts have been spaced out more than the usual, that is because I had my son in February and he has been taking my time. I am trying to get back to my schedule or at least create a new one. I will be making more baby and children’s things.
Today’s DIY was inspired by Ann Lee. I re-purposed a picture frame I found at the thrift shop, I think I got it for a dollar. In total this project cost me about five dollars. Here is what you will need:
- picture frame
- fabric to fit inside frame
- acrylic paint
- paint brush
- picture stencil
- masking tape
Prepare your picture frame if it is old like mine. I scraped and sanded the the frame and painted it black. The glass needed to be cleaned as well but I could not get it as clean as I wanted it to be.
Cover the inside board with fabric of your choice and close the frame.
Tape the stencil on top of the glass.
Paint on top of the stencil and leave to dry.
Remove the stencil and you are done. Hang your art.
