Gardening
For mother’s day I always want to make my mom something, I always feel like its more personal than a bought gift. This year I really want to give my mom flowers but with her being so far away I am not yet sure if I will manage that and then I saw these Paper Flowers on Pinterest. I decided to make these paper flowers that I can always give to my mom later.
I found this gift wrap for mothers day and pipe cleaners at the dollar shop.
Fold 8 – 10 sheets of the gift wrap accordion style.
Cut the folded sheets into a size you would want your flower to be.
Tie the sheets of paper with the pipe cleaner.
Cut the edges in a curved way.
Start separating the sheets.
At the end your flower will look like this.
Make as many flowers as you wish and tie them together to make a bouquet.
If you want the stem to be firm you can attach a stick and wrap it with a ribbon. Or you can make big paper flowers to hang in your children’s room.
