Gardening
Last week I saw a video showing how to wrap presents that do not come in a box. It was pretty easy and got me to think I could use the same technique for a gift bag. It is also a fun project to do with children as well.
You will need the following for the gift bag:
- Paper, any paper you have will do
- Scissors
- Puncher
- Grommets
- Sticky tape
- Ribbon
Fold over the top of the paper. You can glue it if you wish, but it is not necessary.
Fold one side on the paper on the right side
Fold over the other side overlapping the first side.
Use sticky tape to close the opening.
Fold up the unfolded opening
Open up the folded bottom as shown below
Fold the smaller end up again as shown below. Tape the folded ends together
Fold the bag inwards to form creases. Fold the creases inward. If you wish to use these bags for popcorn or any other treats you can stop at this stage. Using a puncher, make four holes. Insert the grommets.Pass the ribbon through the grommets and secure the ends by tieing them.
Your gift bag will be ready for use at this stage.
