I like to send text messages more than talking on the phone. I do sometimes forget to reply messages though, it actually happens a lot. Over the past year it has happened more than I would like to admit. Its shameful really. I even forgot the pin number for my debit card, to be fair I hardly use it, but still. I blame Leo.
I love emojis. Sometimes the message is lost in the emojis but they are still fun. I wonder if my mom would get them. This DIY is easy to make even for children.
You will need:
- Yellow fabric
- Red felt fabric
- Black fabric
- Fabric glue
- Scissors
- Sewing machine and other sewing notions
For this tutorial, you can make the pillow as big or as small as you want it to be. I free draw the circle and face features and cut them out.
Cut out the pillow and facial features on the fabric.
Glue the eyes and mouth to the right side of the pillow.
Glue the front and back of the pillow right sides facing. Leave a small opening.
Cut out v-shapes around making sure not not cut into the glue or stitches.
Turn the pillow inside out and stuff. Sew or glue it shut.
There you have your emoji pillow!
