I have one sister, Oripa and one brother, JJ. I am certain My brother gave my parents their grey hairs, he is not a bad kid by any means but he is different from us girls and it does not help he is the youngest. Perhaps it is because boys are wired differently from girls. For high school we all went to boarding schools but I think my parents had more difficulty with my brother than us girls. Every school term, JJ would come hime with his school sweater torn at the elbows you could hardly mend it, so he needed a new sweater every single term! there was nothing you could do with the sweater except for unraveling the whole thing or stuffing it in a pillow. In this DIY, i show you how to repurpose a sweater into a beanie.
You will need:
- sweater
- sewing machine or needle
- matching thread
- scissors
- fray check
Use a beanie of your choice trace and cut out a beanie on top of your sweater.
Stitch around the edges, and secure the edges with fray check.
And that is it! Your beanie is ready to be worn, took me ten minutes.
