Last week I challenged myself to work with wood. My father taught me a little but was not really interested. I know what tool is used for what but never really tried anything until last week.
I found this tutorial for making a tray. Looked pretty straight forward so I gave it a try. I made a few mistakes but mistakes show you are trying.
I had the lumber shop cut for me the sizes I needed.
First, you make the box by glueing and nailing together. I used a hammer and since I never learnt how to nail straight it was kind of hard.
You glue and nail the bottom pieces.
I used a red oak stain that I instantly fell in love with.
Then I attached the handles with liquid nails since I do not have a drill.
TADA!
I was so happy with the result will find another project to do again.
