It feels like I have not blogged for a long time though it is only a week. I had exams back to back so I did not have time for blogging. Getting anything done with a baby or toddler is hard let alone studying. I feel like I could sleep for a whole week!
I saw a video by Anneorshine where she made framed flowers that can be illuminated with christmas lights. I loved it a whole lot so I made one too.
You will need:
- Picture frame
- Stapler gun
- Artificial flowers
- Chicken wire
- Heavy Duty scissors
- Glue gun and glue sticks
- Christmas lights
- Electrical tape
I used an old picture frame that I already had in the house. It needed repainting so I sanded it and spray painted.
Trim the chicken wire to make the frame neat.
Use electrical tape to attach the christmas lights using electrical tape. (I realised it would be difficult to use the lights after I had finished because Leo would have tugged at the cord. Next time I will just skip this step.)
Cut off the stems from the flowers and use the glue gun to attach the flowers and leaves to the chicken wire.
