When I started my container garden it was mainly to grow food. This year I decided to grow flowers and other plants as well. Best. Decision. Ever. I love all plants, who knew! I have decided to bring the plants indoors as well.
If you follow me on Instagram, you may have seen a plant that I had indoors a couple of months ago. My friend liked it so I gave it to her and it has grown so much. She has decided to start growing other things too, I am rubbing off her.
It is the easiest thing to grow plants in water but like me you may not know how to do this. A lot of plants do well in water especially climbers like my potato vine which I took outside. When you do to the nursery most of the plants will be potted and I am going to show you how to transfer it to water.
You will need a vase, some pebbles and a plant. I am using a spiralis for this tutorial.
Wash the soil off the roots until it’s all gone.
Add some pebbles to the vase.
Add the rest of the pebbles and add water.
Some plants will require light so make sure you find a spot where your plant finds light.
