I like to make baby stuff. I guess its the newness and pureness of a baby that makes me so happy. I have made blankets, cardigans, shoes , dresses and softies. I especially like making tiny weeny stuff, in a sense it fascinates me that we all fit in those clothes at one time.
This is a knitted teddy bear that I made using Debbie Bliss’ pattern. It was actually initially published in a book. The pattern calls for cashmere wool but I decided to use Lion’s brand fun fur. I like the outcome but its not a fun yarn to use, I ended up taking more time than I otherwise would have. Everything else is the same as the pattern, well except I did not stitch the eyes and nose I glued them on. I must say it make me happy to just look at the teddy.
