Last year I wrote a few recipes using madhumbe. I have some new ideas and will be sharing more.
I am not a fan of at least in the way they are made in Zimbabwe, just boiled. However, I discovered that madhumbe do very well when you don’t add fertilisers and pesticides. You can not say the same for potatoes. This year I intend to use them more.
This time I made flatbread. It is a great alternative to sadza or rice.
