This past weekend the America’s Cup Series took place in Bermuda. It as a lot of fun, different things for everyone to do. I enjoyed watching the boats and this is how close I have been to watching any sport at international level. I think 2017 ill be a lot of fun. Hopefully we will still be here to experience it. We are not planning to go anywhere but if you are an expat things can change quickly.
Racing was supposed to take place on Saturday and Sunday but on Saturday there was no wind so there was no sailing. All the races had to be on Sunday. The team Artemis from Sweden won this series on what was a beautiful day. Monday was a completely different day, it no feels like fall. Its cooler and I am loving the weather. It kind of gave me the energy to finish the beanie I have been working on. I unraveled this hat so many times, it is ridiculous and almost wanted to give up. The picture I had in my head just would not translate to what my hands were doing. I must say though that I love the final product.
After I wrote the pattern, I just decided that I would call this the Sarah Beanie. No long story it just felt right when I chose it.
I have probably said this before but this my favourite hat. Perhaps it is the color, I like neutral colours.
Here is the download for the pattern, its also on Craftsy and Ravelry.

Hello, came across this last weekend and loved it, especially since my daughter’s name is Sarah. Just finished in Red Heart’s Unfirgettable and it’s lovely! Thank you for sharing your pattern.
