Since I went natural, I have learnt the importance of covering my hair before going to bed. My hair feels better when I cover it compared to when I don’t. I used to tie a scarf, or where I come from a dhuku at night but it could never stay on. So I bought satin bonnet but noticed that it had use by date. I have no idea whether that is something that is scientific that you should use it by a certain date or the company is just trying to make money. I found some satin charmeuse at the fabric store that was half price and I managed to come with a pattern for a satin bonnet. It stays on my head and I think it looks way better than pantyhose on your head!
