My son is at a stage where he is starting to play interactively and grabbing things put in his hands. I saw these baby blocks made with fabric and decided to make some for him as well. It was a good way to use up my scraps and give him more toys.
I saw two ways of making the blocks on-line but I found the method I used here easier.
Materials needed
- Fabric – different colours and textures
- Ribbon
- Fiber Polyfill
- Jingle bells
- Sewing essentials
Instructions
Cut six, 5″ squares of the fabric and 1/8 th yard of ribbon.
Sew four of the squares together to form a tube, attaching the ribbon too.
Sew another panel to close one end of the cube.
Sew on the top panel leaving one side open. Fill with fibre poly fill.Slip stitch to close.
