I love cooking with Leo. Well sometimes. He is still at the age where he loves making a mess so it gets complicated. He loves experiments, so being able to make ice cream is always a hit.
We made tsubvu ice cream. He did not like tsubvu but he loves tsubvu ice cream. To be fair everyone loves ice cream.
I got an ice cream machine at the thrift shop which I use all the time now. If you don’t have one just use a metal bowl. Freeze the bowl and add the ice cream mixture and whisk. Keep freezing and whisking until you get the right thickness.
Tsubvu Ice cream recipe
INGREDIENTS
8 oz Heavy Whipping cream
14 oz Sweetened Condensed Milk
3/4 cup Tsubvu Puree
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon Vanilla extract
DIRECTIONS
Freeze the ice cream machine bowl according to the manufacturer’s instructions. I do overnight.
Mix all the ingredients in a blender. Add to ice cream machine. And churn for about 30 minutes.
Freeze for at least 4 hours and serve cold.
